Project Steering Committee

The Project Steering Committee shall be the governance body of NeuroStemcell, with authority on the overall policy, and on changes in the direction and management of the project.

Board of Directors

The BoD is the management board and will serve as the executive body for NEuroStemCell, supporting the Co-ordinator and the Project Office in implementing the various sub-programmes, monitoring scientific progress in the project, considering and recommending to the Steering Committee any modifications in research directions, competitive calls for new participants, and/or budget redistributions. It will address knowledge management issues, including patenting and licensing and, as appropriate, present these for consideration by the Steering Committee.

Networking and Training Director

This responsibility is taken by Dr. Malin Parmar who will supervise, and be the primary reference person for the Exchange Visits program the Summer School, internal Workgroups activities and public workshops. These three latter activities will be organized by the Lund Office under the direction of the Networking Director. She will also assist in multi-sponsored initiatives between collaborative consortia and directed toward increased public understanding of Science and Dissemination (outreach).

The Project Office

The Project Office is in charge of supporting the Coordinator in the overall coordination and integration of the Project, establishing frequent communication with all research group leaders and finance administrators at the contracting institutions. It is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day running of the Project, maintaining frequent and effective communication with the Commission Scientific and Administrative Officers for the project.

It is also in charge of legal aspects of the project as being responsible for implementation of the Consortium Agreement and monitoring that each WP work is executed and safeguarding that the timetable is maintained as project intentions. It is involved in ensuring protection and effective management of intellectual property generated in the project.
